Stephanie Simmons Cole, grew up in Georgia however; after High School she decided to expand her horizons by moving to Texas on a full scholarship. There she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Stephanie knew at the age of 15 that she would study psychology and her ultimate goal was to build a safe and healthy place for individuals, to not only understand their mental illness, but learn how to cope with those various illnesses or support family and friends who they would see struggling daily. She knew in her heart she would always move back to Dallas, after returning home for a short while, little did she know, it would be Dallas, Georgia. There in Dallas, Georgia, Stephanie planted her roots and began to expand on her life long dream. She received her Master’s degree in counseling psychology and is licensed by the State of Georgia as a licensed professional counselor (LPC).

Extra Tidbits:
Contact us for a free 10 minute consultation, with one requirement, you or someone near you laughs at my grands jokes!
My grands are very special, so I have asked them their favorite jokes, children love to laugh! In those jokes, are lessons to be learned.
Ruth (11 yo): Knock Knock, who's there? Who - Who who? Don't cry you're an owl now!
Cole (7 yo): What is the difference between a violin, a bottle of glue, and a fish?
You can tune a violin, but you can't tune a fish! What about the glue? I knew you would get stuck on that.
Journeys has been a life long dream and I am blessed to serve my community, I would like to say Thank you to my family, friends and business partner for keeping my dream alive all the while supporting my breast cancer journey! I am truly humbled. S.

AnsleyHello, my name is Ansley Bair. I am from Bremen, Georgia. In addition to a Bachelor's in Psychology, I have a Masters and a Specialist in Education with a focus in Professional Counseling. I have been a school counselor for 4 years and in private practice for 1 year. My vocation was driven by a desire to be a resource for change. I love my job and helping people!
My counseling goal is to empower individuals to navigate through life's challenges with compassion and wisdom. I will always aim to provide a safe and warm environment to ensure that the comfort of the client is met. Through talk therapy, you can be yourself and utilize the benefits of catharsis. Working together, goals can be set and therapy can move at a pace that you are comfortable with. In these sessions you are in control and supported, no matter what season of life you are in. |

I use recreational art in counseling to work things out through colors, images, writing and storytelling. Everyone has their own unique experiences which I intend to use to empower the client as well as being an ally and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. In our sessions we will explore the shadow self, fears, shame and guilt, past traumas with family, religious trauma, or relationships that shaped you. I create a safe space to be genuinely yourself and to help you be seen.
My approach to wholistic therapy is based in humanistic and person centered ideas. This looks like focusing on what makes you, in mind, body, and spirit and our connections with other people. Also, using practices of mindfulness and meditation and how to understand and reprogram negative thought cycles in the brain to gain more control of your life.
I’ll always stay curious as we journey through anxiety, depression, identity development, grief, life transitions, body issues, low self-esteem, and many more human experiences. Please feel free to reach out to us or come through our doors to start finding emotional healing.
